SMWS 10.100 - Pirate ships are burningThe nose has beach bonfires, crispy bacon and a hint of vanilla. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body has pineapple, banana and more of the crispy bacon from the nose. The finish is long, with crisp meaty smoke and a hint of brine.

Water brings out compact whorling that settles quickly into fleeting mottling. The nose now gains more vanilla and more smoke. The body has much more smoke, a hint of lime and a little honey towards the finish before the smoke rolls back in. The finish is more crisp smoke, seaweed and brine.

A great dram for winter shorelines. The balance is superb!
