11 years old, distilled 7th September 2004, 60.5% abv, First Fill Ex-Bourbon Barrel, 186 bottles

The nose is delightfully soft, balanced and playful - mint, grass, eucalyptus, vanilla and hints of lime. The mouthfeel is smooth with a little cling. The body has basil, vanilla, lemon, lime, and a hint of thyme. The finish is sweet and short, with vanilla and lemon.

Water brings out tight, rapidly expanding whorling that doesn't mottle. The nose now has less eucalyptus, more vanilla and grassiness. The body gains more lime and loses the basil. The finish is a little longer, but unchanged in flavour.

A superb light dram - for bright spring days.
