One nice thing about winter is that you don't have to get up early to see a spectacle.
Kent House station is built into a viaduct, so you're over all the houses and can sometimes get spectacular views. It's also handily oriented east-west, to make the most of those views. So I didn't mind when the train was late earlier in the week - I just got my camera out and made the most of it.
