The nose has caramel, lemon, vanilla, and hints of coconut. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has butterscotch, vanilla, and hints of apple. The finish is quiet - red apple and caramel.

Water brings out thin, brief whorling that expands then dissipates. The nose gains more apple and vanilla, and hints of fresh oak. The body gains oak sawdust, lemon, cinnamon and the apple is more than a hint now. The finish is louder, but not by much - and gains cinnamon.

This dram is one for events. Not celebrations - one to watch sports with, or take to a gathering. A fine dram that's enjoyable, but won't distract from fine company.
