The nose is curious - dusty old books, strawberries, greenhouses. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body is unexpectedly nutty - walnuts, chestnuts and a little peanut brittle. That gives way to nutmeg and cinnamon, which continues into the finish.

Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into lingering mottling. The nose now has less of the strawberry, and more of the greenhouse. The body has a little more vanilla and some earthiness. The finish is still nutmeg and cinnamon.

An intriguing dram, for listening to an album with in a darkened room.
