The nose has lemongrass, sandalwood and a hint of hobnob biscuits. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lemon, flying saucer sweets, and a hint of green apple. The finish is short and clean - lemon and then gone.
Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains lemon sherbet and loses the hobnobs. The body gains a sharper, sweeter lemon note and some hints of toffee. The finish lengthens, but remains just lemon.
An odd dram - not complex, but delightful nonetheless. Unpretentious and unashamed of its simplicity. One for drinking with friends.
