The nose has sultanas, linseed oil, cinder toffee and a hint of gingerbread. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has plenty of sherry, gingerbread, toffee and dried fruits (raisins, sultanas). The finish has gingerbread, sherry and sultanas.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains tobacco leaves and loses the linseed oil. The body gains more toffee and some hints of leather tobacco pouches. The finish gains hints of tobacco.

A superbly sherried dram for your dessert.
