The nose has pineapple juice, honey and blood oranges. The mouthfeel is rich, smooth and has some cling. The body has toffee, caramel and oak furniture. The finish is short, with oak tannins and a little toffee.
Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose now has empty cigar boxes, and more honeyed notes - the blood oranges are now absent, but some kiwi fruit is present... The body has gained sweet honey notes, and hints of oranges before moving to a finish of fresh oak and camphor wood with a little cinnamon.
