SMWS 121.102 - A fruity fruitionThe nose has honeysuckle, pear, melon, and sultanas. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has apples, calvados, croissants and a little caramel. The finish has caramel and sultanas with a hint of melon.

Water brings out decent whorling that expands quickly and dissipates without mottling. The nose gains baked apples and sandalwood, and loses the pear and melon. The body gains ginger and more caramel, and loses the croissants. The finish gains ginger.

A very interesting dram which has really worked well with this unusual finish.

One for spring mornings.

Technical score: 4.5/5

Personal preference: I'd like a bottle.
