SMWS 1.248 - Making Hay in a WardrobeThe nose has lemon, Peach Melba yoghurt, and orange sherbet. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lemon, peaches, old unpolished oak furniture and hints of orange sherbet. The finish has lemon and old unpolished oak furniture with hints of peach.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose gains icing sugar and loses the orange sherbet. The body gains icing sugar and a curious hint of ginger. The finish gains more unpolished oak.

A curious dram - something of a sweet tooth’s delight, but it fell apart somewhat with water.

One for summer afternoons.

Technical score: 3.5/5
Personal preference: I’d have another dram.
