The nose has an initial hit of tropical hothouses, which dissipates into oranges and gorse. Quite unexpected! The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has pineapple, peaches, toffee and a hint of lavender. The finish is peach with hints of lavender.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains a little menthol. The body gains more peach and some strawberry, and loses the lavender. The finish gains toffee, and loses the lavender. The peach remains.

A superb dram where the nose deceives a little, but the palate overdelivers.

One for cold winter days indoors, to remind you of summer.
