SMWS 19.76 - A utopia of bananas and muffinsThe nose is quiet but has mango, papaya, banana and hints of passion fruit. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has mango, passion fruit, banana and hints of redcurrant. The finish has mango, papaya, passion fruit and hints of milk chocolate.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that dissipates quickly without mottling. The nose gains more passion fruit and papaya. The body gains milk chocolate and cinnamon. The finish gains milk chocolate and plenty of cinnamon.

A superb set of fruits, but quite a light and watery dram. The spice after water is my only complaint.

One for summer evenings.

Technical score: 4/5
Personal preference: I’d have another dram.
