The nose has peaches, marzipan, amaretto and a hint of ginger. The mouthfeel is thin, with a little cling. The body has cinder toffee, banana, maple syrup and a little hint of raisins. The finish is caramel and toffee, with hints of peach.
Water brings out tight, thin, rapidly spreading mottling that lingers for a while as mottling. The nose gains more ginger, toffee and cinnamon. The body gains caramel, burnt oak and vanilla sweetness. The finish loses the peach, and gains vanilla.
A lovely dram for the enthusiast.
