The nose has lemon bon-bons, marzipan and hints of pot-pourri. The mouthfeel is thin with little cling. The body has crisp pear, lemon sherbet, marzipan and a little ginger. The finish is short - lemon and ginger with a hint of chilli powder.
Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles briefly before dissipating. The nose now gains pear, peaches and lime but loses the pot-pourri. The body gains lime and more of the ginger, and hints of chilli powder. The finish is more intense but doesn't change its flavours.
A picnic dram.
