SMWS 28.37 - Custard on ginger cakeThe nose has vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and hints of lemon. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lemon, vanilla, hints of lime - and then cinnamon and nutmeg roll in, but are not dominant. The finish is lemon and nutmeg.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that settles into lingering mottling that slowly spreads. The nose gains gingerbread, lime and more intense vanilla. The body gains lime, ginger, more vanilla and loses some of the lemon. The finish gains lime and replaced the nutmeg with ginger.

A great dram for autumnal lunchtimes.
