The nose has toffee, mint leaf, peaches and a little strawberry. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has peach, mint leaf with white chocolate. The finish has mint leaf and peach with a little strawberry.
Water brings out tight, thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles into lingring mottling. The nose gains gooseberry, lychee and a hint of lemon. The mint leaf, peaches and strawberry are lost. The body gains orange oil and lychee, and loses the mint leaf. The finish gains lemon and loses the strawberry in favour of lemon.
A really good light sweet dram that takes water well. A little sharp, but that's fine.
One for summer afternoons.
Technical score: 4/5
Personal preference: I'd have another dram.
