SMWS 28.89 - Smacks of citrusThe nose has “meadow fresh” fabric conditioner, lemons and walnuts. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has plums, hazelnuts, walnuts and wood shavings, then cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish has plums, walnuts and nutmeg spiciness.

Water brings out compact, short-lived whorling with no mottling. The nose gains more lemon and some hints of toasted bread. The body gains toasted bread. The finish gains more spiciness.
A decent dram that was, for me, drowned a little by the spices in the finish.

One for autumn evenings.

Technical score: 3.5/5
Personal preference: Just the one dram, thanks.
