The nose has a lovely light smoke - burning cardboard on a shoreline. There's a faint hint of lemon too. The mouthfeel is thin with some cling, and quite smooth. The body is heavy compared to the nose - autumn bonfires and TCP. The finish is TCP and lemon.
Water brings out the TCP on the nose, but no other changes. The body has more lemon, and that continues into the finish.
A superb peated whisky. One for the winter's evening, before going indoors to have something heavier.
