The nose has hickory smoke, vanilla, bacon frazzles and honey. The mouthfeel is thin with little cling. The body is a little watery, with vanilla followed by black pepper and Worcester sauce. The finish is sweet, with vanilla and hickory smoke.
Water brings out thick, short-lived whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose now has more smoke, but loses the honey and bacon notes. The body has less pepper and Worcester sauce, but more more vanilla and some salted caramels. The finish also gains salted caramels.
A lovely heavy dram - the last of the evening, but no regrets with it!
