21 years old, distilled 4th April 1995, 58.2% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Barrel, 186 bottles

The nose has gentle peat smoke, sea air, and hints of lime and honey. The mouthfeel is decent (smooth, heavy), with little cling. The body has vanilla sweetness, peat smoke, honey and a little lime. The finish is honey and gentle peat smoke.

Water brings out the, rapidly spreading whorling that mottles for a while. The nose now has a little lemon joining the lime, which continues into the body and finish, but otherwise no change.

A very good light Islay, suitable for the start of the end of the evening.
