SMWS 30.93 - Tonka Bean Creme BruleeThe nose has figs, prunes, nutmeg, cinnamon, and then a little apricot. Oh, and lots of sherry! The mouthfeel is thick with some cling, and quite smooth. The body has more of the nutmeg, some walnut, hazelnut, and then a hint of coffee towards the finish. The finish itself is dark chocolate and sherry.

Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that settle into heavy mottling. The nose now gains fudge, and has lost a little of the sherry. The body loses some of the nuttiness, but gains some polished walnut and a hint of sulphur. The finish also gains a little fudge.

A decent sherried dram, but I'm at a loss as to when I'd drink it. This is the conversation, not the reason for the gathering.
