18 years old, distilled 25th September 1997, 54.9% abv, Refill Ex-Sherry Butt, 558 bottles

The nose has honey, vanilla and pears. The mouthfeel is thin but very smooth no cling. The body has lavender, pears, cinnamon and hints of tobacco. The finish is sweet tobacco and lavender.

Water brings out thick, compact whorling that lingers before dissipating. The nose gains light, crisp smoke and a little light lavender. The body has more lavender, some toffee, and less cinnamon. The finish is lavender, crisp smoke and hint of pear.

A fine dram for starting the end of the evening.
