The nose has ginger and plums, with barbecue smoke in the background. The mouthfeel is decent, very smooth with no cling. The body has ginger, Frazzles and maple syrup. The finish is barbecue smoke and ginger.

Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose has more of the plums and loses some of the ginger, but retains the smoke. The body gains hints of pineapple. The finish also gains pineapple.

A very good sweet Islay, for hot summer's days.
