The nose has toffee, sultanas and raisins, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. The mouthfeel is thin with little cling. The body has more of the vanilla and cinnamon, then some pecans. The finish is sweet, but too short to pick out any one flavour.
Water brings out thick, expanding whorling that lingers as mottling for quite some time. And it can take a lot of water! The nose has gained lemon drizzled sponge cake. The body is bigger - lemon, banana, sponge cake, and hints of soft caramel. The finish is a little longer - caramel and lemon.
A lovely summer's day dram, which needs water to shine.
