The nose has Danish pastries and polished wood. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling, but very smooth. The body has toffee, cinnamon, flakey pastries and maple syrup. The finish has raisins and cinnamon.

Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into mottling. The nose now gains orange peel, caramel, toffee and sultanas. The body is smoother, gaining sultanas and cinnamon. The finish also gains sultanas.

A lovely balance of wood and spirit, this dram is perfect for celebrations.
