The nose has caramel, honey, polished oak and hints of tea leaves. Very nicely balanced. The mouthfeel is decent with some cling. The body has soft caramel, polished oak, cinnamon, and a hint of star anise. The finish is cinnamon and star anise.
Water brings out thin, short lived whorling. The nose gains hints of orange zest, which continues into the body where it's joined by some hints of orange and a little more oak. The finish gains a little caramel.
A wonderful dram for hot summer's nights.
