10 years old, distilled 6th April 2007, 61.5% abv, First-Fill Ex-Port Barrique, 276 bottles, dram price B

The nose has red wine, golden brown toast and a hint of green apple. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has more red wine and green apple, with a little hint of toffee. The finish is red wine and toffee.

Water brings out thick whorling that settles quickly then dissipates. The nose gains a little pineapple. The body gains cinnamon and loses some of the red wine. The finish also moves towards pineapple and loses some of the red wine.

Nowhere near as dominated by the port as I feared, this is a dessert dram.
