The nose has plums, apricot and a hint of mint. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has pears, apricots and then a big hit of Thai spices that shuts down my palate. The finish is plums and cinnamon.
Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brief mottling. The nose now gains singed oak shavings and cinnamon, losing everything else. The body loses the Thai spices, but gains caramel and cinnamon at the expense of everything previously there. The finish is oak shavings and cinnamon.
A chimeric dram that changes a lot with water. On for a winter hip flask.
