The nose is a little quiet - vanilla, marzipan, raisins and sultanas - and a hint of Turkish Delight. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lemon bon-bons, linseed oil and butterscotch. The finish is vanilla and lemon.
Water brings out tight, thin whorling that settles quickly into mottling. The nose now gains more vanilla and loses the dried fruits. The body gains cinnamon and loses the butterscotch and linseed oil. The finish loses some of the lemon.
A decent dram for summer breakfasts.
