13 years old, distilled 1st October 2002, 58.9% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Hogshead, 210 bottles

The nose is very light - rosemary and thyme, then toffee. The mouthfeel is thin with little cling. The body has fudge, lemon and rhubarb and then a little cinnamon and ginger. The finish is fudge, cinnamon and ginger.

Water brings out tight, thin whorling that expands briefly b doesn't settle into mottling. The nose now gains more of the herbal notes and some hints of cinnamon. The body gains white pepper and liquorice. The finish is unchanged.

A good dram for between courses.
