The nose has old oak timbers, honey, lemon sherbet and floral hints. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has oranges cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. The finish is ginger and lemon.
Water brings out thick, short-lived whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains lime chews and freshly opened bags of boiled sweets. The body gains similar tuck shop notes - boiled sweets and fruit salad chews. The finish is unchanged.
A lovely dram for spring afternoons.
