10 years old, distilled 7th May 2004, 61.3% abv, refill ex-bourbon barrel, 227 bottles

The nose has vanilla, lemon juice and coconut oil aftersun lotion. The mouthfeel is sharp and thin with very little cling. The body has vanilla, soft pears and a little toffee. There's a hint of liquorice towards the end. The finish is vanilla, and is quite short.

Water brings out brief whorling that settles into mottling that a mayfly would think short lived. The nose now has more lemon and less coconut. The body has vanilla and cinnamon with less pear, and an absence of the liquorice hint. The finish is unchanged.

A decent dram for an ice-cream dessert.
