9 years old, distilled 14th May 2008, 62.3% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Barrel, 234 bottles, dram price B

The nose has pear, toffee and hints of peach. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has vanilla and peach, masked a little by alcohol prickle. The finish is pear and vanilla.

Water (quite a bit!) brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that lingers for a while as mottling. The nose gains more pear, and loses the toffee. The body has more fruit - pear, green apple, vanilla. The finish gains green apple.

A lovely dram for summer nights.
