The nose has thyme, lychee, elderflower and hints of green tea. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lemon, green tea and hints of rosewater. The finish has tea chests and Turkish delight. There's also some alcohol burn.
Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into brig mottling. The nose gains Turkish delight and lychee, and loses the elderflower. The body gains lychee and pear, and loses the rosewater. The finish gains a hint of white pepper.
A dram for summer evenings.
Technical score: 3/5
Personal preference: Just the one dram, thanks.
