The nose has ginger, lemon sherbet and hints of pineapple. The mouthfeel is thin with little cling. The body has pineapple and lemon, with hints of red apples and strawberries. The finish is light, with hints of lemon and pineapple.
Water brings out thick, expanding whorling that settles quickly into decent mottling. The nose now gains a little cinnamon and hints of camphor wood, but loses none of the fruit. The body gains some of the ginger that was first in the nose, which gets a little warm towards the finish. The finish is unchanged.
A very light, delicate whisky - one for breakfast, when your palate is freshest!
