The nose has honey, red apple, and a sweet caramel. The mouthfeel is decent and smooth, with a little cling. The body has red apple, orange fruit gums, toffee and hints of cloves. The finish is sweet with honey and cloves.
Water brings out thick whorling that settles slowly into mottling. The nose gains toffee and caramel, sweet tobacco, and cloves. It loses the red apple notes. The body gains ginger and loses the orange fruit gums. The finish gains ginger.
A decent dram for summer evening as the sun goes down.
