The nose has toasted white bread, apricot, and hints of honey. The mouthfeel is thick, with a little cling. The body has ginger, toasted muffins and a little more apricot. The finish is soft - cinnamon, ginger and toasted bread.
Water brings out thick, rapidly expanding whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains tangerine and hints of cherry blossom. The body gains notes of oak furniture, and loses the apricot. The finish is unchanged.
A great dram for starting the evening.
