11 years old, distilled 8th March 2005, 57.4% abv, first fill ex-bourbon barrel, 223 bottles

The nose has lime, aloe vera, vanilla and a slight mustiness. The mouthfeel is thin with little cling. The body has lemon, lime, sugar dusted pear drops and a little coconut. The finish is sharp, with lemon and a hint of ginger.

Water brings out tight, thin whorling that lingers for a short while but doesn't mottle. The nose now loses the aloe vera, more vanilla and lemon. The body has more coconut and a little rough leather, along with plenty of lemon. The finish is vanilla and lemon - the ginger has gone.

An excellent dram for a hot summer's day.
