The nose has strawberry tarts, raspberries and a hint of apricot. The mouthfeel is thin with little cling. The body has vanilla, cherry, strawberry and a hint of pears. The finish is short, with vanilla and strawberries.
Water brings out big, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into fleeting mottling. The nose gains more of the apricot and pear, but less of the strawberry and raspberry. The body has more of the pear, less of the cherry and the vanilla is unchanged. The finish is also unchanged.
A superb dram for any occasion, but I'm not convinced water made it better.
