The nose has lime, pineapple, peaches, fresh cut grass and a hint of rosewater. The mouthfeel is thin with a little cling. The body has fresh cut grass, lime, pineapple and plenty of cinnamon, and a slight spice burn. The finish is cinnamon and lime.
Water brings out thin, compact whorling that dissipates quickly before mottling. The nose gains cinnamon and loses the rosewater. The body gains oak staves but loses none of the fruitiness - it gains peach. The cinnamon remains but the spice heat doesn't increase. The finish gains a little peach.
A fine summer day's dram for relaxing in the shade.
Technical score: 3/5
Personal preference: Just the one dram, thanks.
