The nose has thick-cut marmalade, toffee, treacle and a hint of ginger. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has ginger, cloves, black bun and oranges. The finish has ginger and oranges.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that settles briefly before mottling. The nose gains sultanas and loses the treacle. The body gains sultanas, and a lot more ginger. The finish gains more ginger and some sultanas.

Almost overpowering with the ginger, yet still holds it together very nicely - and the nose after water is superb!

One for winter evenings.
