14 years old, distilled 16th March 2000, 62.8% abv, refill ex-bourbon hogshead, 254 bottles

Vanilla, crisp smoke, and a little smokey bacon on the nose. The mouth-feel is clean, crisp and slowly coating. The body has vanilla, smokey bacon crisps, pine sap and hickory smoke. The finish is dominated by smoke, with a little pine and cinnamon.

Water brings tight thin whorling that expands quickly, dissipating cleanly. The nose has lost the smoke and gained soft pine. The body has crême brulee and pine, the finish is longer and sweeter with more vanilla and pine and less smoke.

A great dram for the end of the evening.
