The nose has plums and soft gentle smoke from a heather bonfire. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has honey, more of that heather bonfire smoke and a little hint of incense. The finish is more of that heather smoke and some vanilla.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains honey and hints of rosewater. The body gains more honey notes, and the smoke is bigger. The finish is unchanged.

A fine dram for winter afternoons. There may not be many flavours, but it's all in how it's arranged.
