The nose has beach bonfires, wet kelp, driftwood and a hint of lemon. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has wet kelp, lemon, smoke from a driftwood bonfire and hints of liquorice.The finish has lemon, kelp and bonfire smoke.

Water brings out lemongrass and barbecued seafood, but loses nothing. The body gains lemongrass and seafood. The finish gains more lemon.

A decent dram that balances smoke and lemon with some coastal notes. There’s nothing wrong here!

One for winter mornings.
