The nose has burnt sausages and bonfire smoke, with hints of raisins. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has more burnt barbecue meats, alongside dried apple and hints of peanuts - then peat smoke. The finish has peat smoke and hints of raisins.

Water brings out thin, short-lived whorling. The nose gains horseradish and loses the raisins. The body gains horseradish and hints of stem ginger. The finish gains horseradish.

An interesting dram, in that the heavy peating tempers a note I'd normally not like (horseradish).

One for winter afternoons.
