The nose has lemon, lemon and more lemon - and perhaps a hint of lime. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has more of the lemon, sweet rather than bitter, and some coconut and vanilla. The finish is sharp, with vanilla and lots of lemon.
Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that settles quickly into lingering mottling. The nose now gains spring blossoms notes. The body has gained hints of shortbread. The finish is unchanged.
Life gave Auchentoshan lemons, and they turned them to their advantage.
