The nose has peaches and passion fruit, then a hint of a tannic note - cigar boxes. Very nicely balanced. The mouthfeel is decent, smooth with a little cling. The body has candied orange slices and a gentle fizz of lemon sherbet. There's then a hint of white pepper towards the finish, which is peaches and hints of tobacco.
Water brings out thin, rapidly expanding whorling that dissipates quickly. The nose gains honeysuckle. The body gains honeyed sweetness, and the finish gains candied oranges.
A lovely light sweet whisky - one to start the evening with.
