26 years old, distilled 19th December 1989, 51.8% abv, Refill Ex-Bourbon Barrel, 180 bottles

The nose has pear, passion fruit, lemon and a little sugar dusting. The mouthfeel is decent with a little cling. The body has lime, lemon, sponge cake. The finish is lime chew sweets and passion fruit.

Water brings out tight, thin and rapidly expanding whorling that quickly settles into brief mottling. The nose now gains rosewater and hints of fruits of the forest. The body gains pineapple, and hints of leather.

A lovely dram for summer lunchtime!
