The nose has pears, foam bananas, toffee, lemon and hints of buttered croissants. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has lemon, foam bananas, pear, green apple, honey, croissant and hints of toffee. There's also some cinnamon towards the finish, which has pear, cinnamon and lemon.

Water brings out thin, compact whorling that dissipates quickly without settling. The nose gains more lemon, thyme and mint leaves, and loses the banana and croissants. The body gains more lemon and green apple, cinnamon and some fresh oak notes. The finish gains cinnamon.

A great dram whose only flaw is that dominant cinnamon note at the finish.

One for spring afternoons.
