64.111 - Pleasing sweetness, playful heatThe nose has red apples, plums and peaches with some sandalwood. The mouthfeel is thin with no cling. The body has red apples, plums and marzipan. The finish has red apples and marzipan, then some building ginger.

Water brings out tight, thin whorling that settles into brief mottling. The nose gains more sandalwood and loses the peaches and plums. The body gains more marzipan and loses the plums. The finish loses some of the ginger.

A little too spicy and woody for me, but the fruits are attractive.

One for spring mornings.

Technical score: 3.5/5

Personal preference: Just the one dram, thanks.
